Star-crossed

This is one of those stories that's a pure gag. The entire story is the set up for the punch line. Upon rereading it, I'm not sure the joke works. Too much set-up? Maybe I should have inverted the story line and started with the end and then explained what happened. Or, alternatively written it from the perspective of people elsewhere in the galaxy. Played it up as apocalypse or horror, and then do the reveal.
Oh well, this is what first drafts are for :)
Love's Labour Something, Something

This week is a sequel to last week's Love Is Complicated. I figured the concept was good enough to squeeze a few more jokes out of it.
Next week: Dana Does SciFi! (I think, unless I come up with a better idea than what I have in mind)

I had the idea for this one last week when I was trying to think of ideas for Valentine's Day stories. But since I had Totally Original Idea already done, I went with it.
I almost didn't post this one, but I want to try to do a #fridayflash every week this year. Oh well, you can't hit 'em out of the park every week.
Totally Original Idea

I couldn't help it. An idea for another time travel story just popped into my head. I feel so dirty.
This evening I started poking at a Valentine's Day Special but was too lazy to finish it. I'll save it for another time.
Terminal One

I had planned on doing another time travel story this week, but yesterday I had been editing a snippet from an old nanowrimo story for use in an exercise, and I decided to post it instead. I like this piece and it's somewhat different from my usual fair. So *next week* you get a time travel story. And the weekend after that, I think I'll revisit my mad scientist from several weeks back.
I write about airports a lot, I think. I really enjoy travelling and flying so I suppose it wanders into my brain a lot.
The Family Business

Apparently this is my sixty-fourth story posted here! Had I realized it before now, I would have written something involving a Commodore 64.
Oh well :P
Uhh, this one is more of a sketch. I was mucking about with some characters I thought would be fun to write about.
